I LOVE this place....I moved here to NC with my English Bulldog Winston from Wisconsin in April and he absolutely loves going. We take advantage of the grooming as well as over night stays. So far everything has just been great experiences. My dog absolutely loves going to daycare at Animal House!

We have been part of the Animal House family for many years. We have used all of their services, boarding, daycare and grooming and have never had any concerns. The staff are extremely professional and treat our dogs just like their own. They're the best in the Jacksonville area. The front check-in area is clean and smells fine, however, the second that we walked into the area where the animals are kept it smelled putrid. Also there were piles of feces in the play areas that we were shown.

The staff at Animal House are always friendly and helpful. I’ve used them for hoarding for years and have never had any issues, and Michelle does a great job grooming my fur baby. Yes, we are closed on major holidays and have adjusted hours on Christmas eve and New Year’s eve. While our front desk may be closed, rest assured that our wonderful back of house team will be taking great care of our boarding guests throughout the day.

Nicole is extremely knowledgeable with dogs that have skin disorders and she uses products that are nourishing for their skin . Every time I pick him up he is trimmed exactly how I have asked. When we asked how staff prevents other pets from coming in contact with it we were told its immediately picked up after an animal eliminates, but we observed piles of it. I just wanted to know if my dog was ok while we were away, especially since his stay with Animal House was the first time hed ever been away from us. Moreover, the report card system is worthless, honestly. I reviewed it and did not get an accurate overview about how my dogs stay was, unfortunately.

My little guy comesOut f grooming looking so handsome and when we board him I never have to worry. He gets lots of playtime and always makes new friends. We offer multi-pet discounts for families whose pets can share an accommodation. All suites include lots of potty breaks and staff interaction. My lil one stayed there 3 nights and loved the care and attention he received.

Otherwise they would not be so expensive and also you get what you pay for. If I were bringing in one one dog, it would not be too expensive. It may not be much, or it could be 10% I don't know yet as I haven't boarded but will be boarding very soon.

1st time being boarded since I've had him. We are very happy with the groomers and they do a great job. We bring 4 of our dogs to Animal House and they are treated very well and always look gorgeous afterwards. We have a couple of nervous dogs and the groomers are very gentle with them.
Sharkie's groomer will most likely slip out of the grooming area and into the boarding facility when she has time to "spoil" and cuddle Sharkie. I think you will also One more thing, when they bring the dogs out to you, they make you feel like you're the most important person in the entire world. Each Groomer comes out with each dog and "presents" the dogs to you with their new groom.
Animal House is unusual in that they are a full service grooming, boarding and exercise facility for animals. I find them outstanding in the grooming area, I love the four groomers who groomed my three Yorkies, and one GoldenDoodle. I have one yorkie in particular who has luxating patella issues and has to be "babied"--my groomer did the job, they connected right away and I believe she is the head groomer. She and Sharkie were meant for each other.

Knowing there was one tragic event, I hope, does not diminish the reputation of the many years of high praise of all the staff at Animal house. I have been going to Animal house for 15 years. My first dog, Charlie, was called by his name after the first visit. When the staff comes to get my dog Henry, they always call him by name, which is warm feeling to my heart. My dog starts jumping and gets excited when we are close to Animal House. Pets are very intuitive of their surroundings and if he was ever mistreated, he would not react that way.
When he first started he was scared to be left. The staff showed him such patience that he now trots in with his tail wagging. He gets excited when he sees staff members and gives them lots of love. I cannot praise this staff enough for how much they have helped my dog gain confidence and for all the kind treatment they have shown him. There have been several negative remarks concerning Animal House over the past few weeks. It is my understanding 2 of the occurrence were due to pre-existing health issues and nothing related to neglect or conduct of the staff at Animal House.
